Zonori
Child safety
Last updated 21 September 2026
Zonori is for adults and teenagers aged 13 and over. It is not for children, and nothing on it may sexualise, exploit or endanger a child. This page is our published child safety standard: what is forbidden, what we do when it is reported, and who to write to.
What is forbidden
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind is prohibited everywhere on Zonori: in chats, on profiles, in circle names and descriptions, in event listings, in pictures.
That includes any sexual content involving a minor, real or drawn; grooming, meaning an adult building trust with a minor for a sexual purpose; sextortion; arranging to meet a minor for sex; sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM); and sexualised comments about a minor.
Adult-adjacent interests exist on Zonori and are 18+ by rule. Anyone who lets a minor into one, or aims one at a minor, is removed.
Who may use Zonori
You must be 13 or over. We do not ask for your date of birth, and we do not knowingly hold an account for anyone under 13; if we find one, we delete it. Everyone verifies a phone number before they can post in chats, host events, create circles or connect with people.
How to report
In the app, every profile, message and event has a Report action. Pick a reason, add what you saw, and send it. The person you report is never told who reported them. You can also Block anyone, and they are not told.
Outside the app, write to [email protected]. Put "child safety" in the subject line and it goes to the front of the queue.
If a child is in danger right now, call the local emergency services first. In Thailand: Police 191, Tourist police 1155.
What we do
A report that involves a child is handled before anything else. We restrict the reported account and take its upcoming events down while we look, and we keep a copy of what was reported so it cannot be edited away.
Any CSAM we find is removed, the account is banned permanently, and the material and the account details are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the police in the country concerned. We preserve what the law requires us to preserve for that investigation and hand it over on a lawful request.
Grooming, sextortion and attempts to meet a minor are treated the same way: the account is banned, and we report to the police where the law requires it or a child is at risk.
We do not need to be certain before we act, and we do not wait for a reply from the reported person.
The law
Zonori complies with the child safety laws of every country it operates in, including Thailand's Child Protection Act B.E. 2546, the Computer-related Crime Act, and the Google Play and Apple App Store requirements on CSAE. Where a law requires reporting, we report.
