Zonori

Terms

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. Who this is with

Zonori is run by Shaquille Hinds as an individual. There is no company. These terms are between you and him. Contact: [email protected].

2. You must be 13

You must be 13 or over to use Zonori. If you are not 13, do not use the app.

3. What Zonori is, and what it is not

Zonori lists events that its members organise, and some public events from organisers' own public pages, labelled "Listed by Zonori". Zonori does not organise events, sell tickets, or handle payment. Every event has a host, the host is named on it, and the host is the organiser; on a listing labelled "Listed by Zonori", the organiser it names runs the event and Zonori only lists it, until that organiser claims it or has it removed. Zonori is not a party to any event and does not run, staff, insure or supervise one.

4. Your account

One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Verify a phone number before you post in chats, host an event, create a circle or connect with anyone, or change your handle; a verified number stays locked to your account for seven days, during which you cannot change it, and that lock outlives the account so a number cannot be recycled. Do not impersonate anyone. Your handle is the address of your public page: choose one that is yours to use, not another person's name, a business's or Zonori's. We can change a handle that pretends to be someone or breaks the community guidelines, and give a handle used to pretend to be someone to the person it pretended to be. Do not use Zonori for anything illegal.

5. Public circles have no owner

A public circle is a general interest, not a club, a studio, a business, a brand, a team or a personal following. Nobody owns one. You cannot buy one, and nothing you buy anywhere in Zonori gives you control of one or access to another member.

6. Chapter hosts

A circle has a chapter in each city. A chapter can have hosts.

A chapter host is a role, not ownership. It can be given to someone else or taken back, and it gives you no rights in the circle, in its members, or in anything they post. It does not make the circle yours and it cannot be sold or transferred by you.

7. If you host an event

By posting an event you agree that:

  1. You are the organiser. Zonori is not a party to your event.
  2. You are responsible for it being legal, for any permit, for the safety of the venue, for listing it accurately, for anything to do with alcohol, and for refunding your own ticket buyers if you sell tickets.
  3. You collect your own money through your own channels. No event money ever passes through Zonori.
  4. No sexual services and no solicitation. An adult-adjacent event is 18+, is held in a private or licensed venue, and states its consent norms in the listing.
  5. You tell us about any incident at your event within 24 hours, and you help us look into it.
  6. You cover us for claims arising out of your event. We may remove an event, or a host, at our discretion.
  7. Do not post an event you did not organise. Posting it makes you its host of record, shown to everyone who sees it.

8. What you buy

Some things in Zonori are paid: extra circles, extra cities, connects, and a one-time Founding Supporter unlock. Every one of them is sold through in-app purchase by the store you installed Zonori from — Apple's App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android — at the price the store shows you in your own currency. We never see your card.

Nothing you buy gives you access to another member, or any say over them.

Anything you have purchased — connects, city slots, a Founding Supporter entitlement — stays with your account if Zonori is transferred to a new owner.

Credits you have bought do not expire. You can restore your purchases on a new device. Refunds are the store's: ask Apple or Google Play, whichever you paid, and we will not dispute the request.

9. What you post

What you post stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside Zonori, and to keep a copy of a reported item for as long as our privacy policy says.

New circles, sub circles, links between circles, events and event edits are reviewed against our community guidelines before they appear, and we tell you in a sentence or two if something is rejected.

10. What we can do about behaviour

Zonori has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual content or solicitation, and anything that endangers a child are not allowed anywhere in Zonori, and the community guidelines are part of these terms.

We can remove content, restrict an account, remove a host, or close an account for breaking these terms or the community guidelines, without warning when someone may be at risk. Report anything with Report in the app — on a profile, a message, a circle or an event — or write to [email protected]; we read every report and act on it within 24 hours. Where the app offers Report or Block, blocking is symmetric and silent: the person you block is not told. You can undo a block under You → Blocked people.

11. Liability

We provide Zonori as it is. We are not liable for what happens at an event, for what another member does, or for anything you do having met someone through Zonori.

Where we are allowed to limit what we owe you, our total liability to you is capped at whatever you have paid us in the last three months, or US$100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. In particular, section 8 of Thailand's Unfair Contract Terms Act does not allow anyone to exclude in advance liability for loss of life, body or health caused deliberately or negligently, and we are not trying to.

12. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete account) or at zonori.app/delete-account. We can close an account for a breach of these terms. Sections 8, 9 and 11 survive.

13. Law, and changes

These terms are governed by Thai law. When we change them we update the date at the top, and we tell you in the app or by email before a material change takes effect.

14. YouTube

Zonori publishes its weekly video on YouTube using YouTube API Services. If you use any part of Zonori that relies on YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
